New Castle Thunder 2007 Season
Head Coach Rick Razzano

The Thunder appreciate the support that fans gave to the Thunder during our inaugural 2006 season. The upcoming 2007 season should be both interesting and exciting. Judging from widespread interest being generated by perspective players seeking to join our roster, the New Castle Thunder should be something of which the whole state can be proud!

In 2006, all of our players had one thing in common… a passion for playing football. These men sacrificed much of their free time to play for the Thunder. Their commitment has helped the New Castle Thunder become one of the most exciting minor league teams in the country in our first year. Each and every player in 2006 knew what it took to win.

"Our players had a tremendous year for us," said Head Coach Rick Razzano, "we look forward to them coming back and helping us win a National Championship in 2007."

Since the debut of the new NewCastleThunder.com site, we've already received a good number of applications from extremely qualified players who wish to join the Thunder family.

"Since we have had so many new player inquiries interested in joining the Thunder," Razzano said, "we will be holding a combine sometime in mid March or early April, in which we would like potential players to participate in. We expect each of the new prospects to come in physically ready to impress our coaching staff, so it is imperative that you start your strength and conditioning training as soon as possible."

Thunder players are expected to be model citizens and are required through team by-laws to attend and/or participate in several community events throughout the season. Our system - our organization - is the talk of the league.

"What's most important is our players' production on the field, and their integrity off of it. Our Organizational Goal for the upcoming season is to win a North American Football League National Championship. In order to accomplish this, we are looking to assemble the best 60 players in the area.", said Razzano.

If you know anyone who may be interested in being part of a top notch, community oriented, successful organization, have them visit NewCastleThunder.com and fill out a player application.
